You are so right Megan. Outside, 3rd party auditors provide the transparency needed!

LSU needs to be audited. Not by the state, however.

Please find out what LSUHSC or LSU has done with the $200 million they have lost. UH has paid their debt and much more. The care provided for north Louisiana, east Texas, and south Arkansas if phenomenal while saving the state millions of dollars. Senator Tarver has another agenda as he is not telling the truth to you are the community he was elected to serve. We pay all undisputed claims and bills readily, but UH will not pay bills that are illegal or disputed just as I’m sure you would not do in your business, home, or legislative offices. Transparency is the key. UH has the data to share; the Medical School, which I thoroughly respect, needs to share their data.

University Health Shreveport brings value to the LSU School of Medicine as its primary teaching hospital and a key element of graduate medical education. Any cuts could have serious consequences for the medical school, including the permanent loss of medical residency positions that are vital to our state building and maintaining its future doctors.
